It is a great pleasure to listen to the world famous waltzes and polkas of the Strauss Dynasty, performed in the original way as they were composed for the Vienna Johann Strauss Capelle and it is also delighted to see the musicians in special and traditional uniforms, as they used to wear in former times for special occasions in the nineteen century.

Vienna Johann Strauss Cappelle will have its Macao debut in the New Year Concert 2007. The ensemble, not only plays the original Viennese interpretation of Strauss music in red tail-coats and white trousers, but also plays together with a pair of glamorous ballet dancers and a soprano. Its Chief Conductor Michael Tomaschek, is also the conductor and choirmaster of the Vienna Volksoper. The program will be including the familiar works such as Blue Danube Waltz and Tales from the Vienna Woods.

The Vienna Johann Strauss Capelle has been playing with greatest success in many other foreign countries with around 2,700 performances including the New Year Concert in Tokyo Suntory Hall and Osaka Concert Hall. Its appearances also include the concert tours in Spain, Portugal, Italy, United States and China. Join us to celebrate a prosperous 2007 with the Viennese voice. Happy New Year!
