Hi, I was wondering can i still entry to Hong Kong if my Canadian Passport is only has 5 month left? I’m currently travelling in Macau so I was wondering if I can go to Hong Kong if my passport is only has 5 months valid? Any Hong Kong government websites said about that? Thanks.

  1. Charlie says:

Your passport only needs to be valid for one month beyond the date of your expected stay.

Sure. If you can enter Macau why not HK?

It is a general requirement that your passport validity must not be less than 6 months upon entry.

I dont know about Hong Kong, but i was nearly denied an entry to Indonesia bcoz my pasport validity is only 5 mths n 2 weeks. I shown my return ticket and convinced them to allow me an entry.

From there i flew to Singapore and gone through the same ordeal.
