Depends on the country of entry, the length and purpose of visit. Remember, a visa is for a particular country, once a visa is stamped it’s invalid for another entry because it has gained you entry the first time, the second time around the allotment for students, workers, traveling, etc may be filled and your visa has expired.
Then you said yourself its for a *single entry*.
Yes ,u do require a multiple entry visa under the give circumstances.
You need to visit the Embassy of China in Macao or Hong Kong to get Re-entering Visa; probably cost you $20, that was it. Basically, Macao and Hong Kong are belong to China but under different rules. They just want some money from travelers…I went to Hong Kong from Mainland China without Visa for Hong Kong and get new Visa in Hong Kong, and came back to China again in same day! You need visit local traveler agent’s office, they will tell you how to do it or apply it for you but you need stay in Hong Kong for one more day. If you are going to visit for more than one day, let them help you with a small fees.
yes you do…i went to hong kong and macau, and then had to get a new visa before i could go back to mainland china. though they are all considered china, they operate like seperate countries…
If you had one single entry visa granted to you before you entered China for the first time, and then you left China, that one single entry visa is used. If the visa was issued to you while in China, then it is still OK.
In short, yes, you do need a new visa. If in HK or Macao, you must go to the Chinese embassy to get a visa. My recommendation is to get a new visa before you leave by visiting the local police station.
