Macau Incoming Package Tours Drops

This trend is encouraging news as it means that travelers from Mainland China and Taiwan are becoming savvier and are less afraid to travel on their own. This must be good news to the developers who are building major Casino Destination Resorts on the Cotai Strip.

However as Year-to-Year the numbers are still up 17.6%, one could wonder if this the start of a declining trend in in-coming package tours. It also was interesting to note that the number of Macau resident out-going package tours is up by 23% for the same period.

Hotel occupancy is still an interesting trend as it is static and still shows that many gamblers only stay for an average of one night.
