there is cab everywhere, adn you don’t need to book it for half days.
it depends on where you go, but the taxi everywhere, it should cost less than USD 100 per day.
i prefer cab, so you can stay as long as you want, and nobody rush you. for travel agency, it can be easily, because they arrange everything for you, and you can just join when you check in the hotel.
yes..you can book cabs for a day
I went to xian and My papa booked a cab for a week
um…it’s relatively cheap and it depends on where you like to go..some times agents are better…
enjoy
if u r just heading to the above 3 places……i mean not that far away. u could always hire a tricycle (v popular in Macau) for half day. not sure the exact charges, maybe aro $800. for taxi, cos the business in Macau is so HOT today (after all those casino opened). it’s quite hard to get a taxi on the street indeed. maybe u could consider rent a car urself? it’s cheap / i think like aro $600 (mins.) for a smartfortwo. c the site below:–
or u can join a tour machine…..
it’s just aro $150 per person 4 a 2 hrs city tour.
It’s possible to book a cab. But people normally don’t do this in Macau. (It is very popular to book a cab for whole day in mainland China, but I haven’t heard this in Macau.) I am sure you can book a car or a cab from your hotel. If you can communicate the cab driver, I am sure you can do this too. $100 USD for a day should be more than enough (This price should be enough for you to book a Benz from your hotel.)
Renting a car is not recommanded unless you like to test your driving skill with all the MOPED. (You will know why I say so when you are in Macau.) Finding a parking is difficult too.
Most people just call the cab from the street or taxi station. If there is a Taxi station that you shouldn’t need to wait too long (about 10 minutes…) You are kind of needing to fight for the cab in some busy area on street (Whomever gets onto the cab first… ) This is the cheapest way and easiest way to hing around in Macau. Most trip costs less than $5 usd.
I know there are tours agent in the HK & Macau ferry station, but I don’t think it is necessary.
Tri-cycle are one of the tourist attaction event more than an actual transportation, but you can use it to travel around the city too. Just ask clearly for the price before you ride on one.
