Wynn Macau announced that its dragon boat team will participate in the Macau International Dragon Boat Races for the second year in a row.

A team of 26 men will participate in the “Macau Dragon Boat Races (500m),” while a team of 13 female rowers will join the “Macau Small Dragon Boat Races (250m).” In order to get the best results, the 39 Dragon Boat players have had intensive group training since mid-April, in two-hour sessions three times a week.

Wynn Macau’s management team and Dragon Boat racers attended the Dragon Boat Inauguration Ceremony this week. Following an eye dotting ceremony by Ian Coughlan, President of Wynn Macau, Wynn Macau’s inspired Dragon Boat teams gave a traditional Dragon Boat rowing demonstration, including fire crackers.

Co-organised by the Macau Sport Development Board and the Macau, China Dragon Boat Association, the Macau International Dragon Boat Races will be held on May 31, June 1, 7 and 8 at Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre.
